Each year the Shelby Community Foundation offers college scholarships to local high school seniors. In 2011, eleven scholarships were awarded in the amount of $1,000 each. Applications for 2012 will be accepted will be accepted from January 1st, 2012 through April 1, 2012. For more information please click here!

The Shelby Community Foundation participates in the Charity Motors Donation Program. Donate a car you no longer want or need, receive a tax deduction, and designate the Shelby Community Foundation to receive the proceeds from the sale of the car.

Volunteers Needed
The Shelby Community Foundation is interested in using your talents. Volunteers are always needed. In particular, we are currently looking for someone with marketing skills. This person would help to promote the Foundation and its events through contacts with local newspapers, ads on local cable stations, and his/her personal contacts within the community.
